Hackney Council had just approved the felling of the 150 year old Happy Man tree. The last chance to save it was to get it noticed by the Mayor’s office. And what better way to do this than by voting it as the Woodland’s Trust’s Tree of the Year. To make a big impact for as little as possible, we printed engaging little leaflets that amplified the message through community engagement. We rounded off the activity with social posts that reinforced the voting message. The campaign was – to quote the client – ‘a huge hit’.
